Nobody starts a business
to work more hours.

You started one for freedom. Then it ate the evenings. R2 Command runs the front office, the field and the books in one place, so the lead that came in while you were on a roof gets priced, the estimate gets chased and the invoice goes out — and you find out in the morning.

What you are buying

The hours back, not the software

Every tool in this category sells you a feature list and leaves the evening work exactly where it was. The test for anything on this page is simple: does it take a job off your night, or does it just record one?

Freedom, stated as features

Every promise here has a mechanism behind it

Vague freedom-talk is worthless — you have heard it from every piece of software you already pay for. So each promise below is printed next to the thing in the product that actually delivers it. If we cannot name the mechanism, the promise does not go on the page.

Your evenings back

Follow-up, invoicing and review requests run without you. Seven touches over two weeks, stopping the moment the customer replies.

You stop being the bottleneck

A lead prices their own driveway from your website in ten seconds, at your rates and your minimum — no email gate, no callback, no evening quote.

You stop losing money you earned

Money leaks lists the finished job nobody billed, the invoice paid halfway and the job costed at nothing — in dollars, every night.

You find out in the morning

The daily brief is waiting at 7am: today's schedule, the weather against the rules of the trade, what is owed and what went quiet.

The stack you are paying for

Five subscriptions doing one job badly

The quote lives in the CRM. The invoice lives in the accounting package. The calendar lives somewhere else again, and none of them talk. So you retype the same job three times and still cannot tell which finished work never got billed.

The system

Get the work. Do the work. Keep the money

That is how a trade business actually runs, so that is how this is built. Everything marked Live is running today. Building is on the roadmap and not yet shipped. Those tags are not written by hand — the page reads them from the code, so it cannot claim more than exists.

Get the work

From a stranger on your website to a signed contract.

CRM & pipeline

Live

Every contact, every job, every stage. Imports your history out of whatever you are leaving.

Instant pricing

Live

A calculator on your own site. Width, length, a real number in ten seconds. No email gate.

Estimates & e-sign

Live

Line-item quotes, sent the same day, signed online. No deposit workflows built in.

Follow-up automations

Live

Seven touches over two weeks if they go quiet. Stops the moment they reply, by design.

Website builder

Building

Your site, your pages, your pricing calculator embedded — without a web guy.

Branding & social

Building

Before-and-after posts drafted from the photos your crew already took.

Phone

Building

A business line that answers while you are on a roof, with the call on the same thread as the job. Pennsylvania is two-party consent, so anything that records or answers has to open by saying so.

Funnels

Building

A page, a form, a follow-up sequence and the drop-off at each step — built on the same pages and automations as the rest of this list, not a second tool.

Do the work

The truck, the crew, the day.

Scheduling & dispatch

Live

Calendar and map on one screen. Date-only, because weather and cure windows pick the day, not a time slot.

Field & crew

Live

Mark a job done from the driveway in one tap. Before-and-after photos attached to it.

Inbox & tasks

Live

Every message in one thread per customer. One approval queue to clear when you clock off.

Customer portal

Live

They see their estimate, their date and their invoice without calling you to ask.

Keep the money

The half that decides whether the season was worth it.

Invoices & payments

Live

Card or check, with the surcharge grossed up correctly and the check price shown next to it.

The books

Live

Chart of accounts, expenses, crew payouts. Built to replace QuickBooks, not sync with it.

Money leaks

Live

Work finished and never billed. Invoices half paid. Jobs costed at nothing. Listed in dollars.

Pricing reports

Live

Your own win rate by price per square foot — so you can find the highest price that still fills the days.

What the AI actually does

Not a chatbot. The four jobs you never get to

Grounded in your business — your rates, your services, your policies, the way you write — so what comes out sounds like you and not like software. It works beside you, and it never signs a message to your customer as if it were a person on your crew.

01 — Writes in your voice

Follow-ups a customer can't tell you didn't type

It reads your knowledge base, not the internet. If your site says no deposit, ever, the email says it too — and it never promises something you don't do.

02 — Prices the job

A measurement becomes a quote

Your rates, your minimum, your add-ons. The number on your website and the number on the estimate come from the same place, so they cannot disagree.

03 — Finds the money

Reads the books the way an accountant would

The finished job nobody invoiced. The invoice paid halfway. The customer due a re-seal two years on. It looks every night; you look when it finds something.

04 — Does the marketing

Drafts what you'd never sit down to write

Page copy, service descriptions, the post from yesterday's before-and-after. You approve it in ten seconds instead of writing it in an hour.

Why this exists

Built by a contractor who wanted more freedom

R2 Sealing has been sealcoating driveways in York County since 2020. The software built for companies with an office and a dispatcher was never built for a business like that — every tool on the market assumed somebody was sitting at a desk, and nobody was at the desk.

Then his son was born, and the arithmetic changed. The evenings that went to quoting and invoicing were suddenly the most expensive hours in the business. So the answer stopped being “work later” and became this.

“I didn’t want software that helped me work more hours. I wanted the hours back.”

Robert Russell · R2 Sealing, LLC · York, PA

The obvious objection

If you automate it, does the work get worse?

Fair question, and the honest answer is that it is the only one that matters. R2 Sealing carries 125+ five-star reviews earned while running on this — which is not a boast about how hard anyone works. It is the evidence that the standard held when the evenings came back.

Automation here takes the retyping, not the judgment. You still price the job, you still walk the driveway, and nothing goes to a customer signed by anyone but you.

Straight about it

Who this is for, and who it isn’t

Built for you if

  • You are the estimator, the crew lead and the bookkeeper
  • You are on a roof or under a truck when the phone rings
  • You pay for a CRM and QuickBooks and still run a spreadsheet
  • Sealcoating, paving, roofing, concrete, striping — anything measured and quoted
  • One to eight trucks

Not for you if

  • You have an office manager who already runs all of this
  • You want an accountant's general ledger, not a contractor's books
  • You need every module finished today — two are still building
  • You are happy with what you have. Genuinely, don't switch

The business should not need your evenings

R2 Command is in early access with a small group of home service businesses. If you run one, we want to hear how you work.
